In Case You Missed It! (July 2020)

As we are in  the second half of the year, we have  a new group of dramas that we can bingewatch. If you love the mystery/thrillers, you will highly likely enjoy recently added five dramas in this genre, including the much-anticipated Flower of Evil.

1. She Knows Everything

In this eight episode mini-series, a murder takes place at an apartment complex owned by real estate veteran Lee Goong-Bok (Kang Sung-Yeon). Because of her meddlesome personality, she tries to find out what really happened with the help of Detective In Cheol-Ho (Jo Han-Sun) who investigates the case.

2. Into the Ring

  • Release Date: July 2
  • Featuring: Nana (Kill It), Park Sung-Hoon (Psychopath Diary)
  • PD: Hwang Seung-Gi (Radio Romance)

Seo Gong-Myung (Park Sung-Hoon) is the efficient and hard-nosed elite civil servant, who can multi-task with ease. He works with Koo Se-Ra (Nana), who is bright, hard-working, and even has multiple jobs in order to support herself. Together, they work as civil servants to penalize corrupt government officials.

3. To All the Guys Who Loved Me

Seo Hyun-Joo (Hwang Jung-Eum) works as the leader of a webcomic planning team, and swore she wanted to remain single after a series of bad relationships. However, she receives confessions from two men: Hwang Ji-Woo (Yoon Hyun-Min), a tsundere CEO of a pharmaceutical company, and Park Do-Gyeom (Seo Ji-Hoon), a popular webcomic writer and her long-time friend.

4. The Good Detective

A drama about the constant race between people who want to get closer to the truth and those who want to cover it up – two detectives Kang Do Chang (Son Hyun-joo) and Oh Ji-Hyuk (Jang Seung-Jo) use their differences for justice. Kang Do-Chang investigates using his experience and personal connections while Oh Ji-Hyuk uses insight and scientific analysis.

5. Train

  • Featuring: Yoon Shi-Yoon (2 Days 1 Night), Kyung Soo-Jin (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo)

In a mystery between parallel worlds – we meet Detective Seo Do-Won (Yoon Si-Yoon) who just lost someone precious to him because of a serial killer. With the help of another detective, Han Seo-Kyung (Kyung Soo-Jin), he crosses over into a different world in order to investigate the case and find out the truth behind her tragic death.

6. Chip In

  • Release Date: July 16
  • Featuring: Kim Hye-Jun (Dr. Romantic), Oh Na-Ra (Sky Castle)

Bit-Na (Kim Hye-Jun) is the daughter of a famous painter, who owns billions of won in property. After a fierce battle takes place over the property, she tries to figure out the truth.

7. Flower of Evil

  • Genre: Suspense, Thriller, Drama, Romance
  • Release Date: July 30
  • Featuring: Lee Joon-Gi (Lawless Lawyer), Moon Chae-Won (Good Doctor)
  • PD: Kim Cheol-Kyu (Chicago Typewriter, Emergency Couple)

In a seemingly perfect family, Detective Cha Ji-Won (Moon Chae-Won) learns that her committed husband Baek Hee-Sung (Lee Joon-Gi) has a cruel past, has been living under another person’s identity, and is the same person she had been chasing for a period of time.
